May 8, 2011 - Showed very nicely with brined and grilled pork chps with a bourbon rub. Finally showing some aromatic interest and development. For the price, this is a great value. Drinking well now, and should home or improve for three to five years.

October 4, 2009 - Pop.......uuummm.........rhone goodness!! When 1st popped it was like smelling a broken ball point pen. Just all ink on the nose. Then the sagebrush, beatiful anise, raspberries, olive brine and clay. On the palate it was dry as a mutha but just how I like it. Awesome pairing with pizza. I'm hard pressed to find a better representation of CDR for my palate.

March 22, 2009 - Nose - cured wood, raspberries, anise, worchersire sauce, lots of dry herbs. I got a tomatoe paste on the nose when I 1st opened which was cool but its blown off.

Palate - nice clean and pretty smooth & mouth full of raspberries! Ink, leather, dry herbs, tons of anise and a very dry finish but not bitter @ all. Reminds me a lot of their cdp but not as complex.

This is exacty what I want out of my cdr's! Dry, clean, herbs and raspberries!

September 20, 2008 - A very good cotes du rhone. Similar to last note but seems to be opening up a bit on the nose.

July 30, 2008 - A well done, but not outstanding wine. After an hour of decanting, wine presented with rich raspberries on the nose, with a smooth, chocolate and red berry taste. Medium bodied.
