October 11, 2020 - Dark nose of liquorice, violet, tea leaves, bramble, tobacco and Earth. Brighter, lighter palette of stewed cherry and cranberry. Abrupt finish but still packed enough of a punch to hold up to Porchetta with Shitake risotto. Drink over the next couple of years.

Still drinkable but nothing like the previous experiences with this delicious bottle from a great producer. Drink up and put food with it and you will probably not notice it is a little past prime. As a side note, I opened the 2005 "Cotes du Py" from this producer 3 weeks AFTER this one and it absolutely ROCKED. It was drinking great!

It might be in awkward stage or maybe it should have been drunk up years ago. I can tell from my notes that I was impressed with this wine back in 2010. Have a few more bottles left that I will sleep for a while longer.

3/12/2008 (link)(Marcel Lapierre Morgon) Nice to taste the ni ni and no ni ni cuvees side by side. You really get a sense of the difference. There was vivid red fruits but they were less defined. It was just as ripe as the ni ni but just less focused and less pure.
