February 26, 2024 - A lovely Chianti Classico at the price point.
Vibrant nose of macerated cherries, tomato leaf, rose, chocolate, pencil shavings and fresh cut pine wood. Oak may be a touch too heavy handed but still a pretty bouquet.
Palate shows fairly firm tannin with a juicy complement of acid, making for a classically excellent food-pairing wine.
May 28, 2023 - Exceptional gran selezione, with a very silky and concentrated palate. Its aromas are pure, with notes of black cherry, violets, pomegranate, and a touch of baking spice. Excellent Chianti Classico with lots of life ahead of it.
