December 16, 2023 - Very good pinot. The most dependable pinot I know. Ruby color, medium bodied, decently extracted, medium tannins that don't intrude, very dependable wine that delivers. Good to always keep a Bella Vigna on hand.

April 22, 2023 - Nice Sonoma Pinot from Martinelli. Predominant red fruit with cherry and macerated strawberry notes. Good lift and acidity. A bit thin, but nicely flavorful. Good acidity to maintain and highlight the bright red fruit. Good value at this price point. Pretty matter-of-fact but enjoyable nonetheless.

March 15, 2023 - Dark cherry aromatics waft from the glass. In mouth the wine has tremendous acidity. Flavors are framed around a dark chocolate core, slight cherry and some slightly rotted strawberry.

November 2, 2022 - Classic steak house Pinot Noir. Big and bold, does taste like Pinot if a bit too big.

October 19, 2022 - Main vineyard holdings in Fort Ross Seaview. And the Russian River holdings are way out close to the coast. So hence they label it down to Sonoma Coast. Really ripe soft fruit on the nose and palate. Its four vineyards is my understanding. Doesn't taste crunchy and lean like Fort Ross Seaview, nor overblown of RRV I am being told. And that fits it nicely.
