February 7, 2024 - Youthful looking dark ruby purple color. Takes about 2 h for the aromas to unfurl showing very expressive raspberry coulis, dark cherries, baking spices and mint. Palate shows a mouthful of sweet dark red berries, bitter cherry pits, a hint of dark soy, good acidity, smooth tannins and a very perfumed finish. What a pleasant surprise.

September 5, 2020 - Dark red in color. Expressive aromas of spicy black cherries and raspberries, red licorice, graphite and violets on the nose. A dense palate shows silky and sweet dark berry liqueur, baking spices, hint of salinity, lowish acidity, fully resolved tannins and a long ripe and spicy finish.

August 20, 2019 - Really nice place. Went great with BBQ Salmon!! Finished up last little bit the next day and it was gone so I think this is at peak!!

March 17, 2018 - Drank this last night with dinner. Fantastic wine. Bright sweet cherry with baking spices. Startling silky texture and long long finish. Beautiful wine.

December 21, 2017 - Ever so slightly corked. Second Bergstrom like this in last couple of years. Shipped winery direct and cellared at 55 degrees. Not happy.
