December 24, 2014 - No more Palomita?! What a Christmas treat! Paired with beef filet and marinated pork chops. Stunner that wowed my guests to no end. I have lots of experience with this Syrah over the years. The '05 just rocks! Fruit notes present in it's youth have dissipated. Fruit now perfectly balanced with minerality, flesh and earth. Winner! Strong buy if you can find it!!

April 16, 2010 - Tasted this after almost a full day decant. The nose had aromas of currant, earth, spices and a minty note. The palate had blackberry and plum flavors with a nice eucalyptus note. This wine was medium bodied, but the finish was a little bit on the short side for my taste. This was the first time I had seen a Syrah from Paloma, so this was a fun one for me to get to taste.

February 14, 2009 - From memory: Eucalpytus, mint, floral (nose), pine. This wine was hot, so probably a bit young. Unfortunately, one left.
