December 20, 2010 - Decanted a few hours. Dark violet color. Medium nose of pine, blackberries. Earthy taste. Fruit does not dominate, not a large in your face wine. Quite nice in that respect. Finish is a little bitter and not smooth. This lowered the wine IMHO from a 90 score. Still, a very nice bottle at a nice price. I would be happy to drink more.
