October 22, 2018 - Continues to age nicely. Notes of black cherry and plum, with fruit still plentiful. Very soft mouth feel. Medium body, nice dark color.

Tasted non blind.
Garnet color in glass, remarkably clear looking throughout. Nose of Kirsch, iron, wet stones and a little bit of red fruit. Flavors of tangy red berries dominate with a hint of minerals on the clipped finish. Tart acidity, resolved tannin, medium body. Drink five years ago.
I recently did an inventory of my cellar and found this bottle that should've been drank about 5-6 years ago. It still had some life in it but very little. If you happen to still have one you better drink it soon and fast and have a backup bottle handy.
September 18, 2016 - Has aged well but I suspect is at its peak. Beautiful soft silky mouthfeel and has added some sublety and complexity in the last few years.

May 5, 2016 - Dried cherry and cacao powder nose. Rich mouth with some fruit still remaining. Excellent return of bitter cacao on the finish. This wine has aged really well. In it's youth it was more opulent, but now it has taken on some elegance that wasn't there before.

April 8, 2015 - Slight cherry, chocolate and earth nose becomes all cherry and chocolate in the very rich mid palate and finish that contains sweet wood tannins. Not complex, but delivers what it promises.
September 22, 2014 - Drink NOW. Cork showed bleed, opened and drank a couple of pleasant glasses with flavors following previous descriptions (fruit, spice, musk). Gassed with Argon but was funky and a off on day two.
January 16, 2014 - Good, solid wine, but I expected more. Seemed to be on the verge of going bad. Got better as it opened up, but still an odd flavor throughout the evening, with a bit of an aftertaste. Possibly just a bad bottle.
December 4, 2013 - Wet leather on the nose. Light raspberry is overpowered by spices and musk.
