November 30, 2012 - Medium yellow with moderate bubbles. Green apple with a degree of overripe pear. Hints of lemon, with faded sweetness in finish. Should have drunk this NV sooner than 9 years.
November 22, 2012 - Pleasant golden color, with very fine bubbles, which are perhaps a little flat. Granny Smith (green apple) dominates, with touches of biscuit.
June 5, 2012 - Medium color, moderate bubbles. Full, slightly toasty, moderate dosage, drier finish. Good but not particularly distinctive.
April 22, 2012 - WSET Intermediate Course (San Francisco): clear medium lemon; clean, medium intensity, yeast, bread, green apple, honey, cinnamon; fine delicate bubbles well integrated, dry, high acidity, medium body, yeasty, lees, tart green apple, citrus fruits, medium-long length; Very good, quite complex.
December 17, 2011 - Notes of peach and other stone fruits, with significant yeast, some raspberry and with nice smooth acidity. A little too much yeasty / nuttiness for my taste, but overall a pleasant experience.
December 6, 2011 - 2011 Sal's Beverage World Champagne Tasting (Elmhurst, Illinois): Retailer tasting. This showed more character than the other wines from this producer. Almond notes with a solid bead. Tart citrus on the finish. 90-91 points.
