December 1, 2021 - Decanted for 30 minutes, but it was good at opening. Nice raspberry and cassis flavors with some spice notes. I also found it to have a somewhat old world profile. This wine was enjoyable and it held up well!
January 5, 2021 - In surprisingly good shape given its age, but probably past the peak somewhat.
April 11, 2020 - Drinking like Bordeaux. Blind tasted my wife on this one and she thought it was old world. This vintage was guided heavily by Christian LeSommer and it really shows. Good leather and cedar on the nose. Palate has a good balance of mineral it’s and fruit and finish is lengthy. Great price to value on this wine.
March 14, 2019 - dark red, cassis and cherry aromas, light-medium weight, no apparent tannins, modest short-medium finish. Ok but not memorable.
May 17, 2018 - A cross between old world and new world. Medium-heavy body. A little low on acidity but a very nice flavor profile.
October 6, 2017 - Nice wine for the price. Nice raspberry fruit flavors left, with leathery green pepper secondary flavors emerging. A little one dimensional, so I'd drink now while there is fruit left.
August 2, 2017 - Initial nose speaks of Walla Walla, but the structure and flavour profile are very Bordeaux - This is a very European N World wine, I really liked this, a great fusion - classic cigar box nose framed in bright fruit, flavours in line, nice fruit, drinking perfectly right now.
September 25, 2016 - Cork seemed fine, but wine was oxidized. Not sure if this wasn't built to last this long, or just this bottle didn't make it.
July 7, 2016 - A little closed down still but showing well after an hour of decant.
January 18, 2016 - Not very impressed. Full bodied but lacking structure. Perhaps past its prime.
