Community Tasting Notes 3

June 28, 2009 - There are some dairy notes on the nose along with pure white peach, flowers of the same colour as the peach and oyster shell. There’s also quite a pronounced whiff of spearmint (who let Noel Ramonet in the cellars of Fevre in 00?). In the mouth it has that liquid rock feel that us Chablis tragics crave for and there’s great energy and drive. The finish is brought home by refreshing grapefruit like acidity.

November 5, 2008 - The fruit is plump and round with spiced pear flavour and a light drizzle of honey. It is not super complex but a hint of toast and the citrus chalk snap to the back-end counter the simple orchard fruits nicely. This is drinking perfectly now without the slightest trace of over development.

February 14, 2004 - Bright pale gold. Citrus honey and hint of marmalade. Lovely ablance and length. Crisp and classic. VG+ Young.
