December 24, 2023 - Gave it 4 hours of air. Much too young even with air! Notes of citrus on the nose. The palate is dominated by salt and citrus. Difficult to enjoy at this stage, lacking balance due to this very salty/sour impression. Good structure but I will wait at least 5 years and hope...

August 27, 2023 - Dinner with Tom & Deb Mortimer of Le Cadeau (COV, Edina, MN): Geez, this came off young tonight. Lean and full of acid and ultrta tart lemon. Obviously young with tons of potential. 91-93pts.

August 27, 2023 - 19 from our local group plus Tom & Deb Mortimer from Le Cadeau at COV Edina MN. Tom & Deb brought 3 of their stellar PNs and the rest of supplied the starter champagnes and mid-course still whites. The 20 MDT was my wine and as always, a favorite Chablis 1er from Fevre. This was bit youthfully reticent but open enough to be both pleasurable & promising. The minerality leads the way with some citrus and stone fruit emerging. Happy to have a couple more that I'll let rest till 2026+.

May 12, 2023 - tasted at the domaine; 40% neutral barrel aging; much more orchard fruit with peach and pear; lots of orchard blossoms and some apricot; seems one notch more intense and concentrated than the first 2 1er crus; very long finish with peach lingering

November 15, 2022 - During a 2020 Burg walkabout tasting, so only brief impressions. The vintage showed very well indeed for both reds and whites. The reds were dense, fresh with good structure like the 2016, the whites pure with good fruit core similar to 2019 and definitely more refined than the plush 2018. TN: Lovely, fresh, medium complexity.

November 9, 2022 - Chablis Domain Visits-Louis Michel, Pinson, and William Fèvre (Chablis, France): Light yellow. Forward citrus and salt nose. Bigger, rounder entry with lots of orange fruit. Great mid-palate texture and then a classic, drier finish with lively acidity and soil. Impressive and probably the best 2020 Premier Cru we tasted today.
