  October 13, 2012 - Impressive picnic wine! River in full spate so it was a delicious surprise to be handed a glass of this at lunch. Terrific colour, lovely rich bouquet of dark berry fruit - fab ripeness to the not insubstantial tannins. Years of life in this but already a treat to drink now.

  November 14, 2011 - Turn up for the books. Thought I had drunk the last and then a rummage through the wine fridge at home came up with this. Ruby, no sign of age. Nose closed to begin with (probably because it was too cold). Fruit taste and reasonably long after taste. My wife liked it and had a second and third sip which means the wine was very palatable

  October 29, 2011 - This one was good. Maybe drank the others too soon. The colour was still deep ruby, nose was fruit and the taste was very good. Well matured fruit and just a little hint of oak, but not at brash. It had long finish - sorry it was my last bottle
