April 1, 2012 - Very smooth, almost buttery. Great flavor but not acidic enough. Tastes sweeter than it is because of the lack of acidity.

June 24, 2009 - Ripe, rich, and unctuous. There is a hint of walnut skin buried in the deep pit fruit flavor. Sweet entry and a bit of rs and smokiness on the finish with enough acidity to be refreshing. Very enjoyable on its on. Excellent pair with spicy tofu. Very good pair the next night with mushroom zucchini frittata.

June 20, 2009 - Mild bouquet with a limey and rubbery undertone. The taste, if there is a direct correlantion between nose and taste, this has it, definitely rubbery. I felt like I was in a tire store.

June 20, 2009 - Tuscan Reds and Pinot Gris of the World (Farpointe Cellar): The nose had peach, honey, stone, and a gasoline mixed with rubber smell. The palate was crisp, and slightly sweet, and had stone, rubber, gasoline, and a little peach on the finish.

May 1, 2009 - Really a nice match with the Tuscan bean soup. Fragrant aromas of lychee and ripe pears give way to medium heft, somewhat round mid-palate with sweet white fruit flavors. This sweetness is only temporary though as the finish is wonderfully dry and smokey with good acidic presence. Fake cork

November 27, 2008 - Very good, fruity but not over powering. Wonderful pre dinner wine.

January 31, 2008 - At first I thought this was a little too evolved and perhaps a bit too ripe. But it drank wonderfully with Vietnamese and got progressively better the longer it was open. Good viscosity and a medium long finish. Flavors are mostly fruit (lychee and grapefruit was what I noted), with little spice or smoke. I wouldn't hold this.
