December 7, 2012 - A perfectly stored bottle with a firm cork and excellent level. Definitely showing its age, but still quite lively. Light honey amber color. Tastes of apricots and nuts, with a little pear. Paired really nicely with a black truffle rissotto.

Sugar has integrated completely on the palate leaving it seeming like sweet tart lean fruit. Nice acidity and tartness on the finish. Could use more expression on the palate but a lovely wine.
