July 29, 2017 - Dark ruby color. Dry fruit bouquet. Sour cherry and ripe red cherries and plum flavors. Full bodied with sweet, ripe fruit and balanced alcohol. Medium length and extremely pleasant finish. Hold up well with a very complex and savory stew. Very good wine.

February 17, 2017 - Very nice. Has aged well and fully mature but still has plenty of life in this.

February 11, 2017 - Dark red fruits and vegetal notes no the nose. Round tannins, and long gripping finish drive the rich dark fruit to a satisfying finish. Still very fresh.

August 24, 2016 - Values in Ribera del Duero (Chris H's home): I put this in as an extra bottle. It had been in our last group tasting of this area back in 2009. It showed very well IMO. The nose has cherries, plums and some sawdust. On the palate, this still has firm tannins. Plums and licorice. Slight bitterness on the finish. No real hurry on this as this is ageing out just fine.
