This showed all the character of an amazing bottle I tasted in 2015, but seemed 15 years older! Damn you, white Burgundy! For me, 91 points when first tasted tonight, then 89 points when tasted again an hour+ later.

September 24, 2015 - La Paulée Meets Chicago - Dinner (Blackbird - Chicago IL): Small pour, brief note. Great cross-section of fruit aromas and flavors, with some slightly sweet baked apple hints. Powerful and harmonious throughout. Knockout wine with enough structure for enticing textures. I wouldn't have thought from 2006 if served blind.
