September 21, 2021 - Now, with enough time, this has become an excellent old Garnacha. Layers of red and dark fruit, balanced by acid and tannins. Medium body, medium finish. A little more intensity would have been nice, but a delicious bottle.

July 19, 2012 - Past it's prime. Could have mistaken this for a port. Too bad since we have enjoyed this wine in the past. Could be an off bottle.

June 23, 2011 - - Brick color with medium forming legs and aromas of smokey, tobacco, butterscotch and strawberry jam. It's somewhat balanced and has flavours of black pepper, burnt toast and cherry with a medium body. Leathery texture with a medium finish - Hints of cola on the nose. Dark plum on the palate.

August 1, 2010 - a perfect match for a pulled pork sandwich. The spiciness of the garnacha danced well with the tangy sauce of the pork.

June 5, 2010 - nice mix of sl sweet dark cherry and raspberry fruit, some earth; a bit extracted but not over the top; enough acidity to stand up to the lamb/black mole; fun to drink.

March 20, 2010 - Solid, well made, balanced. Long finish, berries are there, but you get a real sense of terroir. Held up well the next day, softened a bit. I think this wine can go five more years...easy. Great value at this price point.

February 7, 2010 - Second wine served in our grenache wine tasting. For many this was the wine of the night (up against Betz Besoleil, a couple of CdPs and priorats). This wine is the complete package and a great QPR.
