February 2, 2022 - Very smooth, Bordeauxesque. Completely resolved tannins. Beautiful nose of mature fruits, tobacco.
November 24, 2021 - Still a beauty
Perhaps on the hill downward as the fruit is softened, dark and slightly pruned
But that well aged nose and milky fruit is appreciated for its age

April 17, 2020 - Still drinking nicely
April 1, 2020 - Faded dark fruit with a slight stewed quality. Acidity on the low side. Past peak, drink now.
March 25, 2020 - This wine is OK, probably in decline. First sip was a huge punch of anise on the tongue, overwhelming other aromas. Not a lot of oak, nice mild tannins on the finish. Not as good as some other vintages I've had. Wouldn't seek this vintage out again.
