August 30, 2016 - what an amazing night of wine, this bottling has always been my favorite (discovered so far) of aged Calera, and this night is was on the top of its game, nonetheless beat out for WOTN by the '76 Robt Mondavi Reserve Cab!!... this was fantastic with nice deep red fruit alongside great acidic / mineral & spice driven edge, super umami on the palate, also great fruit and florals on the nose... fantastic!!! (as usual)

May 30, 2016 - absolutely fantastic, this was red fruited leaning towards plums and compote, almost prunes but not heavy and still a touch of brightness alongside the rich fruit, great acid still and lively overall, med plus plus bodied, one more bottle and looking fwd to it

May 25, 2015 - Red color with brown at the edges.
    Muted nose.
    Berry flavors and Musty notes.
Past its best, but still quite interesting.
    Drink asap.

March 26, 2014 - wow, this was fantastic… so pleasurable to drink a 20 year old Cali pinot that is beautiful (i am not a cali pinot fan), this had ripe red fruit profile but with loads of acid (key for balance), and on top of that some very nice spice, funny Marilee said that she really liked it til she was served her pepper blackened tuna and then the spices were too much… loved this wine and will hunt for more

September 13, 2012 - Surprisingly fruity. Years ago the '92 had a beautifully mature profile, yet this one is still primary, dark and sweet. Unfortunately it's also a bit shrill, the acidity felt out of whack. Maybe air would have cured it but if so it needed more time than we gave it.
