May 30, 2021 - This is lovely. Thought I had consumed all of these half bottles, but found one remaining bottle hiding in plain sight. Ullage and cork in great shape. Color is a dark golden, showing age of course, but that is totally fine. Nose is lovely revealing notes of honey, and white flowers of some sort, plus dessert spices. Palate of baked apple, golden sugars, honey, peach and raisin. Good acidity keeps the wine balanced. The final flavors include apricot, lychees, and golden syrup. Just lovely. Drink up if lucky enough to have some. Or better yet, restock for the next 15 years of enjoyment.

(Served after a flourless chocolate cake with orange zest.)

December 26, 2020 - Deep honey and butterscotch nose with a savory, sourdough yeastiness. Fully mature but not oxidized on the palate. Caramel, butterscotch, but still enough remaining white fruit with a balanced acidity. Lovely.

August 7, 2016 - Tasted blind. Light amber colored. Concentrated coriander, honeysuckle, and tropical fruit. Racy acidity, with a distinct and pleasing acidity/sugar ratio. Reminds me of Pajzos Eszencia, but with more of a deserted island vibe.

June 10, 2015 - Tangerine juice, white peaches, intensely spicy, like raw ginger in the throat. Actually, this is a lot like eating crystallized ginger. Delicious.
