April 18, 2024 - A bit basic, but textbook brunello. Cherry, blueberry, oak note with gamey, jammy taste and relatively long finish. Not quite interesting for the name of master of Piedmonte but surely enjoyable.
December 5, 2023 - It was good, nothing remarkable
June 24, 2023 - I brought this to the family dinner with Pao in 新荣记。it paired well with Chinese food especially Shanghai style.
March 22, 2023 - Oddly a bit green. Maybe just a touch green? But rounded and soft.
December 30, 2022 - Young but approachable with a decent decant. The nose is all fruit. The palate was dark cherry, red plums, a hint of cranberry, and leather. The finish was moderate to long. The last glasses were definitely the best. I will wait until next winter to try another bottle.
July 30, 2022 - Young and a bit sharp and at this stage one pays more for the name Gaia rather than anything else. Definitely lacks the possibility of the better bottlings and felt a bit barnish and lacking of elegance. 89 at best
