May 2, 2024 - Clear, deep gold color.
Clean nose, at the beginning pronounced aromas of lemon and honeymelon. With opening honeymelon, almonds aromas take over.
Dry, medium acidity, medium alcohol, medium body. Medium flavour intensity of honey, almonds. Mid to long finish.
This is a very good wine.

April 14, 2024 - Delicious Soave. Richly textured with yellow apple, chamomile, and toasted almond aroma.

April 6, 2024 - Summer fruit and honeysuckle in front of a broad, medium-toned core with salinity and then a reasonable length finish (maybe not as long as hoped for) on acidity. Mouthfeel is towards the leaner side but by no means angular or spiky. Really good with oysters on the halfshell. Note: Having minimal to no experience with Soave, I would 100% have called this Chablis if tasted blind.

March 26, 2024 - Delicious, age worthy Soave. Yellow apples, nectarine, loads of white flowers, and some smoky mineral notes veering towards hydrocarbons. Elegant, lush body underpinned by strong acidity. Tertiary notes are just starting to appear, this has a lot of life ahead of it.

December 21, 2023 - Try some of this when you open the bottle, but leave most of it for the next day, because it gets way better.

Nose: yellow apple, apricot, lemon peel, peach, smoke, white pepper, wax, wet rocks, maybe a bit of spice.

Palate: the apple and apricot lead the charge, with the lemon and peach playing a supporting role. Smoke and crushed rock glint in the background. Acidity picks up in the midpalate and really tightens up the finish, which is incredibly mineral.

I’d say keep this for a few years yet, you won’t be disappointed. This is a beautifully textured wine.

August 10, 2023 - My second bottle, enjoyed over three nights, and my reaction is exactly the same as the detailed notes in May. Really wonderful wine.
