October 20, 2014 - Wine of the night at recent Garces tasting at our house. Just an absolute stunner. Not sure why they stopped blending a little chardonnay into the SQN whites.

September 20, 2014 - Very Complex. Perhaps the nicest white from SQN I have had.

August 29, 2014 - 39% Roussanne, 31% Viognier and 30% Chardonnay. Uvas provienen de Alban y Eleven Confessions. Fermentado en barricas y con sus lías por 15 meses. Cuerpo amarilloso intenso y denso. Mantequillas flores blancas y frutas cítricas(limón verde). Aterciopelado en boca y bien balanceado. Caudalis kilométrico!!! Una joya

August 14, 2014 - Eclectic Wine Dinner (goosefoot - Chicago IL): Powerful fruit but I don't think age has been kind. This was much better within a few years of release. Tonight this came across as too exotic and tropical for my tastes tonight, and the alcohol further accentuated with the fruit slightly softened with age.

August 14, 2014 - Aromas of woody quality, dark rich dense heavy oily aromas.
Dense spicy warm waxy oily dark spices. Long fat rich. Hard to see this pairing with food as almost a meal on itself. Perhaps for a cold night with a heavy white bean soup not a summer sipper.

(Sine Qua Non The Hoodoo Man) Light butter yellow color; tart lemon, lemon rind, mineral nose with a floral quality and touch of VA; slightly oily textured, tart, narrow, concentrated lemon rind, vanilla and mineral palate; medium-plus finish (WOTF; the concentration made the Copain Roussanne seem watery by comparison)
