August 10, 2023 - Not as good as a couple of years ago, which surprised me - perhaps a bad patch or a bad bottle. The fruit is still there but on the wane, so it tastes a little thinner than before. Still very good, but probably one to check in on if you have any.

December 15, 2022 - Needed some air to blow off that CFranc stank. That reveals pipe tobacco laden cassis. Fantastic structure with medium strength tannin over a broad acidic spine. That supports lovely classic Cab fruit. Hints of the oak flash occasionally. Gets better and more classic with air. Picking nits would be noticing that the fruit is up front and fades some in the middle. No doubt that is a marker of the riper vintage. Terrific and in a good place now where it should be for a while.

May 15, 2022 - Very nice, unique flavor profile and structure. After 2 hours the fruit got immense with nice balancing acidity. I last tried this wine 6 years ago and it was a bit disjointed and awkward. Not anymore.

January 27, 2022 - Mainly blackberries and black cherries, earthy and saline notes, highly dense and concentrated, a beauty which is accessible already but has long years ahead.
