August 7, 2023 - Light, but smooth and eminently quaffable Brunello from a producer I love. This was my first experience with this bottling and it did not disappoint. A great reliable Sangiovese to accompany red sauce pastas or pizza.

June 19, 2023 - Good but not great. Ripe red fruit, spice, dusty earth and a lot of savory elements. Moderate acid and tannin. Ready to go now but probably best in a few years.

May 27, 2023 - Opened it a day before drinking, flipped the cork around and re-inserted, leaving just a bit of headspace. Relative to previous vintages, it seemed like this one opened up more quickly. Already quite good for consumption, black cherry, smooth, a bit of warm spice.

May 13, 2023 - Tuscany (Prince Sydney, 40 Hansard Street): Pretty cherry, a little sweet and savoury spice, touch of earthiness, integrated alcohol Oh, it's a little sour on the palate, grippy drying tannins, surprisingly bad

May 9, 2023 - Dalla Terra Portfolio tasting (Nostrana, Portland OR): The nose shows a dark fruit profile with savory qualities to the tones of dark red cherries, raspberries, licorice, plums, currants, sweet tobacco notes, savory spices, and some toasty tones. There is good depth with a seamless quality to the tones that allows them to flow really well together. The Full bodied feel shows off excellent balance with tart, medium+ acidity and chewy, medium+ tannins. This is clearly youthful, but it has a bit of flesh to it right now that shows really well already and will likely provide a very open window.

November 17, 2022 - Tasted at Benvenuto Brunello NYC. Modern, and better controlled oak than siblings. Nose has vanilla, spices, cherry and floral notes. Palate has good texture and is pretty well balanced, cherry load and clear. Medium long finish. Nice but I'm not raving about this.
