August 2, 2020 - Still big. Tasty. A fairly distinctive caramel note.

    July 8, 2015 - corked...awful.

February 17, 2013 - Similar to my last notes, disappointed this is the last bottle! Dark inky red, still very vibrant. A dark brooding nose of cassis, christmas cake, some red currants too. The palate is similar to the nose, dark and velvety, cassis, currants, some vanilla oak. A stunning wine.

May 12, 2012 - A stunning wine Dark, Intense and so interesting. Vanilla, blackcurrant and oak nose, a few floral notes also perhaps. Velvety cherry, blackcurrant and aniseed, jammy with some dusty vanilla oak tannin at the end. A real lingering cherry flavour lingers on.

January 14, 2012 - Football and Wines from the 90s @ Mike J (Wilton, CT): I can't say I got much here. Nothing really off, but a bit muted on the nose and palate.
