April 12, 2008 - Offeing a very evolved nose with it's classic notes of dried cherry and earthy spice this is pretty to smell if note overly complex. On entry there is an explosion of sweet fruit balanced by racy acidity and a wonderful, slightly astringent edge. This remains fruity with notes of currant and citrus dominated the midpalate and a simple, slightly astringent finish. Certainly a crowd pleaser and deliciously at peak but I wouldn't wait any longer 2008-2010.
