    April 10, 2024 - Slow ox x1hour. Enjoyed over 5-6 more.

Typical Pesenti profile most of the night. Bright red fruit, lots of acidity and spice. 93 til hour 5 of air.

End of the night, acidity and alcohol come to the forefront and take over. Very hard to like it at that point, more like battery acid......86 then. This one obviously needs some bottle time. If popping one now, drink it in the first 2-3 hours.

February 25, 2024 - Drinking kinda tight right now- not young per se but tighter than 3 months ago after a 90 minute decant. Acidity is front and center unlike the last time I opened a bottle. Plenty of fruit as well, so drinking more like a Pinot. If you like Pinot, then enjoy! I will be holding for another 6 months before opening another bottle.

January 13, 2024 - First bottle of this vintage. It drinks like earlier vintages of this wine that I have had. It was open in a restaurant for about 45 minutes with no decant. It might be even better with a decant and/or time aging in the Wine Room. However, it is very good right now. I would describe it as a "classic" Zinfandel. It is dialed back just a bit from the fruity end of the scale that many Zins exhibit.

November 26, 2023 - (Tasted at the winery) Egads, this is good. A mouthful of wine that the Pesenti Vineyard often offers. Big, yet balanced, with a more spicy nature than usual. Begs for prime rib or BBQ burger. Drink 2024 to 2030, possibly longer. Worth Seeking Out.

September 15, 2023 - Great! Drinking better than I expected without a decant. Energetic. Bright. Fun. Excellent consistency year after year from this vineyard.

September 1, 2023 - Ruby in the glass. Fresh berry pie on the nose. Bursts in the mouth with bright berry flavors overlaying a sour, fairly acidic palate.
