  January 5, 2013 - Beautiful dark California red blend that was pretty closed up coming out of the bottle, even after almost 8 years (a 2005 drank in early 2013). Once decanted we got some characteristically thick, dark berry in the nose and on the palate. We drank it with some just spicy soup with grilled goat cheese, and it cut through both beautifully.

  May 12, 2011 - Solid wine overall. Very well integrated now at full maturity. This will not blow you away but its a very good Tuesday wine. Dark fruits and a medium finish. No other notes taken.

  March 27, 2010 - Wow. Drink now and don't stop, Really nice at the start, fresh berries, slight tobacco, real easy drinking. Went to dinner, left decanted for a couple of hours and that's when every thing went south. Completely fell apart. Nice bottle to open and enjoy. Just don't stop.
