November 28, 2018 - Drank two bottles in a few weeks. Surprisingly alive for its age. Not a great year but if kept well still an enjoyable experience. Ofcourse this is starting to fade but it’s also surprisingly fresh on the palate with lively acidity. On the nose forest floor. Fun to drink wines are as old as myself.

September 9, 2018 - This was drank with a proper steak and ale pudding and decanted for two hours. Glorious, sweet, blackcurrant nose, smoke, leather, and church pews. Long, expressive palate that was perhaps not going to improve. Cherry, little tannin and just wonderful! What a stonking wine, and certainly a once in a lifetime chance to enjoy it. Cheers to generous (and patient) friends!
