September 19, 2022 - On the nose, polished wood, dried white flowers, burnt toffee, white chocolate, toasted nuts, very bruised apple, maybe undergrowth like a red burgundy might have. On the palette, baking spices, more very very bruised apple, and wood. Lemon pith on the finish. I love this, but it is very evolved, and is not long for this world based on this bottle

September 18, 2022 - Pours a very evolved colour of pale amber for a wine of this age. Incredibly atypical upon opening - and much to my surprise - displaying some of the milder characteristics often found in the skin contact white wines of Gravner, Radikon, and Skerk. If severed blind at this point I’d have no idea where this originated from. With the passing of time these elements faded leaving a profile more recognisable of mature white Burguny with roasted nuts, heavily bruised yellow apples, wood spice from old oak barrels, dried apricots, orange blossom, quince, and cloudy cider. One for those who favour their white Burgundy on the more mature side - assuming of course their bottle presents as this one did - since this was very advanced indeed.

June 1, 2019 - Oxidised should have opened sooner?

    January 27, 2016 - Very disappointing.

Case of 12 drank during 2013/14.
2 bottles from the case of 12 were clearly oxidised and 2 were borderline. The rest were variable. Some were very flat, lacking fruit and acidity. The best were ok with oak a little prominent and a bit unfocused (and the score is for these).
On this evidence, would not buy this producer again (though this is probably a better wine in more classic white vintages like '07 and lots of producers seem to have improved their premox record more recently).
