  November 26, 2018 - This is the replacement bottle(mag) from RM received 5 years ago from a flawed leaker. This bottle(after 5 yrs) had the same signs of leakage from the cork, streaks of wine to the top, and a little bubble of wine protruding from the waxed top. But THIS time...the wine inside is in FINE shape! Wonderful bright red berry fruits...refreshing sour cherry tarts, cranberry acidity livens the palate, intermingled with pretty dried floral and Xmas spices...slight sous bois, red licorice, smoked herbs, dried chocolate covered bing cherry. Silky smooth and inviting...with that zing of brightness adding a refreshing pleasure. Great bottle caught at a great time!

  April 3, 2015 - This was popped and poured to go with stilton burgers on the grill, and followed over several hours. Ready to go from the moment we pulled the cork, and full of all the hallmark RM traits one would expect. Rhubarb, orange peel and scents of pine meet you on the nose. There's much of the same on the palate, with hints of Christmas spices lurking in the background before a moderately lengthy finish punctuated by good acidity. This certainly isn't shy, but it is a fun drink. Glad to have held onto this one as it seems to be in a good zone now, and I can't say I see any real upside development coming (at least based on this bottle), so would advise putting these in the on-deck circle if you have some.

  January 15, 2015 - Drinking beautifully from magnum. Elegant, all red fruit and Christmas spice. Very popular even with the non Pinot drinkers.
