January 19, 2018 - Surprised and pleased by this wine. Deep fruit restrained by a few years in the bottle. Typical higher acidity of zin with hints of blueberry, cherry and plum. Nice body and mouthfeel.
September 21, 2011 - nose: mushrooms, meaty, serious vapors with dark fruits looming, hearty earthiness
drink: soft to drink with spice and berries

August 11, 2010 - as good as I remember it. the problem is that I was drunk when I had the first one and dont know if it was an xxx or xxxii or any other of the x and i combonations. a good inexpensive zin. kind of makes me want to try one of their top shelf wines to compare.
July 31, 2010 - Always a fan of Vintner's Cuvee, but this is not one of the better examples. Dull flavors.
April 12, 2010 - over ripe, stewed tomatoes. On top of that, industrial chemical aromas. Model airplane glue, acetone. Not pleasant.

March 2, 2010 - Delicious nose of raspberry and red fruit, however the astringent taste of the wine belied its nose. Not enjoyable…tossed it out.

February 11, 2010 - Vintner's Cuvée XXX is not my favorite. It's never a great wine, which isn't what it aims to be, but it is frequently a good value. This one is a little thin all around, but the spicey zin bones are there.
