February 2, 2020 - i concur with the last note, but will add that even after being open for 4 hours, it was considerably better after aeration through a vintori

January 19, 2020 - This is tasty; nose with ripe dark berry fruits, a whiff of oak, game, a hint of funk, and floral notes. The palate is fresh, vibrant, and delicious. Still a tiny touch of oak notable, but overall this is drinking well. The tannins were well integrated and the balance was good. Thoroughly enjoyable.

August 6, 2016 - Clear ruby in color, cool menthol, spice and red fruit aroma. Bitter acidic on palate, tannin rough and grippy, too much oak and not enough fruit as balance.

April 13, 2015 - Was interested to try this, as definitely from the new era of faiveley and some of the 2006s have had poor reviews. This was in good shape. There was a real hint of mint, eucalyptus on the nose. Nice balance and well integrated on the palate.

December 10, 2014 - Deep cherry with a good dollop of vanilla on the nose, the entry on the palate is a little weak and finished slightly bitter

August 2, 2014 - The nose showed dusty, ripe cherry, dry soil tones, crushed fall leaves and hints of manure. On the palate, it was acid driven and angular, showing tart cherry and stony minerals. The finish lasted long on the back palate with an astringent zing and lingering notes of spice and white pepper.

July 30, 2014 - B-day Bash - Carlisle, BDX, Nemo and more (Danny Brown - Queens): needed time and food. still rather young. earthy cherry and forest on the nose. sour cherry is the dominant fruit in the mouth. With time this became more elegant and smooth. still with some grip. Perhaps more time will make this into a more elegant wine, though it was very enjoyable now too.

January 13, 2013 - This wine very closed down at the moment, didn't want to give anything up on this tasting. Wait a while if you own.

January 12, 2013 - Saturday with David White (Domaine Wine Storage & Sun Wah - Chicago, IL): Even with some air this was almost completely shutdown. Just a hint of florals on the nose. Hold.
