January 14, 2014 - Red cherry/raspberry aromas with hints of herbs/earth. The palate matches: red fruit, a hint of herbs/earth, medium acidity/light tannins. An okay finish but overall I wouldn't hold this much longer.

December 31, 2013 - Mid dark with a bit of aging present. Nose of herbs, parma violets and tar. Tastes medicinal, herby, savoury. Fruit is restrained and sweetness limited to the back end. Fine tannins. Long finish. After 3 hours the finish was tea, herbs, camphour and roses. Delicious.

December 29, 2013 - Nice floral/fruit notes nose and on palate at P&P, even better an hour later w/dinner of my meatloaf and stuffed twice-baked potatoes. Dessert of my dark, dark chocolate brownies an hour later were complimented nicely with the fruitiness of this wine. I waited 1.5 years since my last tasting. Next one will be within less than 6 months as it is in a nice drinking window for my palate.

October 7, 2013 - Strong aromas of cassis and blackberry, oak. Raging alcohol on the PNP. Several hours of air mostly addressed this. Layered fruit-- black and red currant on top, black cherry underneath. The black cherry keeps going on the long finish. Would have guessed a nice CdR. Indistinguishable as a CdP. Lacks charisma.
