Community Tasting Notes 24

October 9, 2022 - Delicious. Rich and smooth. Plum, soft cherry notes. Thought it became very dry as I drank it and then realized that that was because it was so delicious that my glass was quickly empty.

January 13, 2018 - Dark chocolate over dried cherries, with cherry juice-like acidity. Luscious and smooth, with just enough tartness spread across the whole palate to be pleasant. This was a beautiful wine, and I direly want more. This easily has another 5-6 Years left on it.

July 15, 2016 - Dark red/purple. Pleasant nose. Dark fruit, peppery, still fairly fresh, but some alcohol heat on the finish. Solid CNP that is not yet in decline, but the high alcohol makes it less enjoyable.

February 7, 2016 - Similar to my tasting note from September 2015. Lovely, focused red and black raspberry fruit, very direct. Well received by the crowd. Superbowl, my place.

December 18, 2015 - In a nice place, some interesting flavours with tannins largely resolved. Didn't perceive too much alcohol.
