December 31, 2014 - Decanted. Excellent with dark fruit and secondary notes. I've been underwhelmed by some Lewis wines, but this had depth, structure and complexity

December 14, 2013 - Big CS; had for a Christmas dinner with some very knowledgeable wine people next to Meerlust 2005 Rubicon. Lewis was clearly the winner. strong pleasant musty nose, very big taste and very long lingering after taste

September 1, 2013 - I can't imagine this wine can get any better and it is very good. Drank with a dinner of skirt steak and Mexican sides. Just a very smooth wine with silky mouthfeel and a slight violet/rose nose and dark fruit, slight cocoa and stone. The tannins are tying it all together I think. I will likely drink my remaining bottles as I don't know how this one will age over the next 5 years and it is so good today.

April 15, 2013 - Outrageously smooth and fruit forward this wine has gained amazing concentration in the last two years. The nose has a wonderful crushed berry and violent scent and the finish just will not stop. Unbelievably rich berries that are perfectly balanced with the tannins this Cab is exceptional. Thankfully I have two more left!
