June 5, 2016 - Keeps getting better and better with age. My score keeps rising on each bottle. Just read an article about how 2005 Napa cabs are still drinking young, this one confirms that. Still a little tannic, great balance. Will easily be at peak well past the 2018 CT date range.

February 23, 2016 - Coravin #2. Just stellar. Dark chocolate, oak, blackberry, raspberry. Tobacco. Leather. Always underrated. Always a treat.

February 12, 2016 - I will admit to having a favorable bias to Lewis's wines, particularly the cabs. Opened this with a group of friends that we don't get to see often enough and the 2005 reserve was a star. Smooth tannins, deep and brooding dark fruit, hints of mocha, and a finish to savor.

February 5, 2016 - Black fruits, some graphite and cedar spice, grilled meat. I feel this is at its peak not too old, but not going to get any better with time.

February 5, 2016 - Youthful fruit but lower tannin, cocoa, blackberry, decent acid, bit of red bell pepper, cedar, coffee
