October 3, 2014 - Amazing and still very youthful with much life ahead of it. Lot's of dark fruit with the structure to be nicely balanced. Incredibly long finish.

February 7, 2014 - Smooth, silky tannins with lots of youthful fruit. This had a beautiful nose while resting in the glass. Upon opening this showed a fair amount of vanilla/oak but this seemed to integrate over the 3 hours it was consumed. The last glass was the best. This should still have plenty of growth ahead of it.

September 7, 2013 - Pretty nose of cola and cassis infused blackberries. Palate shows such a finely weaved bevy of good Cab things, I don't know where to start. I will start with the fruit! Blackberries and boysenberry with hints of currants and blackcherry. Tannins are lofty but in the background and overall balance is pretty amazing. The real story here today is alchemy. This just oozes it. So much life ahead of it, but it drinks so beautifully right now. Finish is long and all the black fruits remian in play. I think I have chosen well for an early Fall Saturday; one that has grilled steaks and my favorite lady.

May 19, 2012 - Wow. Either decant for a long time or hold several more years.
April 2, 2012 - Very good, much like the 2006 and 2008 I also tasted in the same evening. Round, balanced. Spicy and juicy in flavor. Chocolate bar, herb and a long finish.
