May 28, 2019 - Pear, lemon zest, and just a touch of oak. The oak seems to come out a bit more with air, but in a nice hazelnut meets spice way. Not a ton of acid, this might be a little past peak, but still quite tasty. B+

November 24, 2018 - Maybe a bit past it’s prime for us, but there’s something to be said for slightly overaged, food Chardonnay.

January 1, 2018 - Ex-Chateau bottle that I acquired this year. Though opened with a durand, there were no issues with removing the cork. It was brittle though and easily broken in the hand. Excellent nose with lots of fruit including tropicals (mango) and stone fruit (white peaches). Acidity has faded to the background although still there supporting the fruit. Wish I had tasted this a couple years ago just to see where it's headed right now though I suspect it's about as ready as it's going to ever get for drinking. A fine bottle of wine that delivered what I was hoping for.

November 23, 2015 - This is the second 2006 Littorai Chardonnay with cork problems. Like last time, part of the cork broke off in the neck of the bottle. Removed but with use of a tea strainer to filter out all the cork.
Color was a bit golden, but looked like it could be a fun drink. The wine was really tired and had lots of nuttiness in the palate. Past its prime - yes. Was anticipating more and don't think it is too much to ask for a premium Chardonnay to make it to 10 years. OK, some vintages are better than others with greater acidic backbone. Not trying to be too critical, but I am going to stick by my 10 year rule. -
