June 17, 2012 - Nice colour and aroma, however, not overly satisfying flavour. Slightly astringint and sharp.

July 31, 2010 - Colour: pomegranate with arc of ochre notes. Arome: powerful, ripen black berries, cherry jam, leather, hints of forest floor, chocolate. Taste: blueberry, plum, cherry, tobacco, bitter chocolate, good acidity through all taste stadiums, long little bit bitter and acid aftertaste, felt tannins. Full-bodied, good complexity, powerful Ripasso. Drink now or after 1-2 years. Needs air (decanting) before drinking. 88 points.
