  September 7, 2021 - PNP. Slight amount of bricking at the edge of the glass, very dense and opaque purple elsewhere; Still a bit of dark fruit, cassis and hints of plum on the nose which all carry through to the palate; tannins are fully resolved and silky. If there was ever a hard edge to this it is no longer there. Finish is soft but nuanced lasting 15-30 seconds. After an hour chocolate and fig on the nose. Paired well with the remnants of yesterday’s Rib-eye.

  March 19, 2017 - The vines are clones from Eislele vineyard. The nose is very secondary with green tobacco, dried cranberry, Koa wood and red meat. Very full-bodied and concentrated, the palate shows a lot of fruit - first and foremost. Quite unique, and there's still cottony tannins in the back. Drink now - 2023.

  July 25, 2012 - Napa & Sonoma Trip (Dunn, O'Shaughnessy, Conn Valley, Seavey, TOR, Jemrose, Hansel); 7/23/2012-7/26/2012: Very dense and concentrated, but still was quite smooth and balanced. Dark fruit, very full body with low to medium acidity. Reminded me of SQN it that it could pack serious density and ripeness while delivering balance and litheness on the palate. Impeccable wine.
