November 19, 2019 - This might have been the single vineyard Seven Hills, but I'm not sure. Definitely a surprise to the group as most of us know Januik to favor big oak and this wine didn't show that, though it had smoky notes that reminded us more of syrah than cabernet. It has aged extremely well!

October 7, 2011 - Purchased from Vintner and immediately cellared- wine was still very drinkable. Cassis with notes of tobacco, smooth finish. Served with roast duck with a rich reduction sauce, opened up over the course of the meal.

July 5, 2006 - Fairly elegant, with plum and cherry flavors. Has held up much better than the 2000 Seven Hills Cab, IMO. Quite nice.
