February 26, 2016 - Two bottles, consistent. Mid straw. Quite intense and minerally with lots of grip and a lovely texture in the mouth. A touch more rounded and honeyed cf the gneiss alongside, and consistent with the 08 also opened alongside. ***1/2

September 2, 2012 - First bottle from this producer and first serious muscadet. Poured directly after opening. Light yellow colour, slight golden hue. Apple on the nose and apple on the palate. Much rounder and supple than what I was expecting (a sharp, almost steely wine). Good balance (initially served a bit warm). Drunk with oysters and did not provide the match I had in mind (not the wine's fault). Would have passed for a Chardonnay from a cold climate (vicinity of Chablis, for example). Maybe a bottle that matured faster than expected, to be drunk by end of 2014 judging from this bottle. Definitely not what the word muscadet brings to mind. Very good.
March 4, 2012 - Cette bouteille est fidèle au style de la maison, laissant l'impression de sucer des cailloux! Un peu plus austère que dans le passé il me semble, mais tout de même très bien, dense et intriguant. 89 pts

De la tension, un vin à la densité unique dans cette gamme de prix, je n'en reviens jamais.
Profond, pur et long, dans le style minéral classique de la maison, c'est fichtrement bon!

April 13, 2010 - Spectacularly good Muscadet and such a bargain ! This wine is worth at least twice its price of £8.25 !!!
September 18, 2009 - Decanted approx 3 hrs. Intense, mineral nose. Quite full, a little more fat than one might expect but enough mineral to balance this. Lovely, complex, a slightly honeied character to the finish. Really good. ****
February 28, 2009 - Very pale color, light nose. Very, very mineral driven, with a kind of salty aftertaste. (Although the saltiness was not as strong as the muscadet from a few days ago.) Unfortunately we drank it after the meal. I didn't love it as a stand-alone wine and think it would have benefited from food. Very well made wine.
