December 9, 2018 - Reddish copper color. Certainly unique, odd. Tastes like whiskey, persimmon -- probably maderized.

March 6, 2015 - As good as previous bottle. 2 hour decant. Really opened in hour 3. Round and delicious.

June 19, 2014 - 2014 Athens Wine Event ( with a bit of Santorini); 6/19/2014-6/22/2014 (Athens & Santorini): Blind tasted. Orange- copper in colour, nose is light oxidative , only association we could make was with a very mature Rhone white. A very special type of wine , distinct in all aspects and a bit of a marmite love or hate style. For sure very interesting and among the most difficult to try blind. 91-92 from us.

October 30, 2013 - Superb juice. Gravner at his best. Completely round and delicious. This wine is other worldly. Decant it for 4-5 hours to really appreciate the wine. It will evolve and soar from the glass as you drink it.

October 18, 2013 - Friday Night in Toronto (10tation Catering): Much darker than the Fevre served alongside it; deep golden colour in the glass. The nose exhibits notes of orange peel, florals, black licorice and a heavy overlay of wood. As this sits in the glass, it gets a touch more of that oxidative feel to it, with baked apple notes emerging. On the palate, this is quite viscous and slightly deficient in acid. Wood and dried flowers dominate the dry, somewhat bitter moderate length finish. Quite a bit of complexity here, but not my cup of tea.
