Most times I prefer Olivier's BdB. This is powerful with refreshing acidity. In his way elegant and powerful likewise. 93
March 13, 2024 - Second time having this bottle, the experience is quite difference. The same explosive fruit at the beginning. Not as yeasty as last time I had it, but the nose change over time dramatically. Yogurt, cheesecake, apple tart, wow.
March 2, 2024 - Golden color with a very slight pink hue. Typical powerful nose that blends ripe strawberry and brioche notes. Wonderful Pinot Noir. I’ll say it again - for my palate, this is just about perfect champagne. A wine that is equally comfortable with food or on its own. Combines power, purity and precision. Long. Delicious. (95)
February 18, 2024 - Tropical fruit with ripping acid and minerality. Awesome combination.

I guessed UC Les Roises 2015. Some spicy notes. Just some roasted pine nuts. Balanced and powerful but that oxidative style of Selosse. 95-96

Very pleasant to drink. Powerful champagne but with typical notes of fine pine nut and honey. Refreshing acidity. Not oxidative. 95
November 1, 2023 - this came off as more precise and elegant than the 18, paler in colour but no less in concentration of fruit. Nuttiness, spices, vanilla, white orchard fruits and lemon curd coming through very well. Bubbles a little aggressive, but fine with me
October 20, 2023 - Dinner (Landhaus Bacher, Mautern, AT): Glass: Zalto Universal
I needed a wine to go with the full menu and my choice was this beautiful bottle of bubbles. Vintage 2017, disgorged 03/2021. Clear, pale salmon color. Beautiful harmonious and round nose, deep and multi-layered, some noticeable oak.
On the palate certainly more wine than sparkling in character. Of course with a wonderful fine and long mousseux, but it had the caracter of a very good Pinot. Fine red fruit, salty, dense and deep. Very elegant and balanced. Long, fruity mineral finish. Great bottle of Champagne. 95
October 17, 2023 - No. 1622, disgorged 03/2021, again on the sweet side, perhaps less large and detailed than I remembered. 92
October 5, 2023 - Rousseau Clos St Jacques and Corton-Charlemagne Dinner (Sepia - Chicago IL): Chiseled and minerally with lots of yellow and green apple, very long finish, maybe just a hint too tart. IMHO a bit more dosage would make this very good wine into a great wine.
