September 3, 2013 - Lots of candied pears and grapefruits in the lovely nose; though a bit one-dimensional on the palate, still rather crisp and enjoyable with citrus fruits, bitter oranges, minerals, and yeasts; the finish was pretty short, yet with some creamy and fruity tastes; the bubbles, somewhat coarse but quite long-lasting; overall, 88-89 points (90+ for the lovely nose alone); a good sparkling wine at this price; my first Austrian sparkling wine and certainly a good experience; be sure to give it some airtime like an hour or so in the chilled open bottle for creamier and fruitier flavors.

August 14, 2013 - A good change from cava at this price point. Fairly simple.
