December 24, 2023 - Al naso gradevole e delicata profumazione di frutta bianca, agrumi e miele, nota di lievito. Al palato buona struttura. Fruttato, sottile ed elegante, buon corpo. Freschissimo, minerale. Ottimo perlage. Giusta persistenza. Piacevolissimo.

October 27, 2023 - (Disgorged in summer of 1985, base year 1981, 40% Pinot Noir, 15% Meuniere and 45%, dosage 10 gr/l)
Golden yellow colour with a mature nose showing candied lemons, butterscotch, burnt sugar and some sherry notes in a delicious way. Nice and smooth on the mature palate showing ripe red apples acidity with lime zest bitterness before a lovely creamy mid and showing butterscotch on the lengthy finish. Lots of intensity in this right now!

July 27, 2023 - (Disgorged in fall of 1997, base year 1993, 40% Pinot Noir, 15% Meunier and 45% Chardonnay, dosage 10 gr/L)
Golden yellow colour with streams of fine bubbles showing a mature nose with milk chocolate, cream and some dried fruit in a pleasant way. Mature palate showing red apples with a lovely creamy mid and some honey and with a pleasant lime bitterness. Perfect with tonight’s grilled corn-fed chicken.
(Still showing very well with 25 years extra cellaring) -

April 18, 2023 - (Disgorged in fall of 1995, base year 1991, 40% Pinot Noir, 15% Meunier and 45% Chardonnay, dosage 10 gr/L)
Golden yellow colour with a lovely mature nose showing butter, cream and chocolate at first and opens up with some honey and lime citrus notes in a very pleasant way. Pleasant maturity on the palate with softened acidity of red apples and with a refreshing finish showing some lime zest bitterness.

January 4, 2023 - (Disgorged in fall of 1989, base year 1985, 40% Pinot Noir, 15% Meunier and 45% Chardonnay, dosage 10 gr/L)
Lovely golden yellow colour with a pleasant honey and lime note on the nose. Pleasant maturity on the palate with butterscotch, minerals and a refreshing acidity showing lime zest bitterness. This was getting better with a couple of hours in the fridge for half the bottle giving it time to air out and open up a bit while keeping the few bottles left.
(Still drinking very well with more than 30 years of post-disgorgement)
