January 20, 2019 - Fruit has faded but given way to some decent secondary flavors. No need to hold any longer if you still have this.

March 20, 2016 - Nice fruit; a little faded. Uninteresting.

December 25, 2012 - Popped and poured. Consumed over the next hour. Lots of tropical fruit and a bit of coconut on the palate. Not over the top by any means with just a touch of oak. Very nice stuff. Ready now and should be drank within 3-5 years.

July 28, 2012 - Those who have saved this wine will be well rewarded. Great perfume nose over a firm mineral base. I suspect could go a few more years, like a good white Burgundy.

June 5, 2010 - Best Williams Selyem chardonnay I have ever tasted, which is saying something; absolutely stunning nose; vanilla, apple, lemon, bit of oak, wine does not deliver as strongly on the finish, but it is still an impressive effort; lots of balance; if you like strong vanilla notes in your chard, this wine is for you; this will last for a few more years; wish I had more, but the price caused me to only get one bottle of this one.

May 29, 2009 - It's sooo hard to evaluate the intrinsic quality of wines that don't appeal to you from a sensory perspective. Well made? Check. Elements characteristic of the grape and appellation? Check. Requisite diacetyl attack and 14.8% alcohol? Check. I might be losing olfactory capabilities on a daily basis, but I'll be damned if this didn't take an hour to open up and project the least impression reminiscent of fruit. Once it did, there was an appealingly low key note that somehow seemed to straddle apple and pineapple at the same time, but wow, that alcohol and wood on the finish. Not a candidate for WOTN (Wine Of True-Ness).

December 14, 2008 - A very nice, albeit overpriced, chardonnay. Apple, pineapple, custard. Crisp and satisfying. Not a heavyweight.
