Mais non, le vin se révèle en pleine forme.
Un nez qui ne renie pas ses origines, avec cette touche de menthol, suivie de notes plus bordelaises de cèdre, de prunes, avec aussi des arômes de chêne, que j’apprécie peu dans un vin de cet âge.
La bouche montre une belle fraicheur, c’est prêt, les tanins sont fondus, mais le vin possède encore une belle vigueur. Je le trouve bien équilibré, pas d’alcool perceptible, avec une certaine finesse. C’est bon. 90 pts

May 2, 2014 - Bought this recently on a 30% sale. Drinking nice thought past its prime. Still a lot of oak and berry fruit. For the price I paid,@$40. Great drinker.
December 1, 2013 - The first bottle I had back in August was much better. This bottle was similar, however the nose was mustier. It was debatable whether or not the cork was compromised.
It was still nice and smooth, the tannins still sufficiently strong enough to give this wine a few more years of life. Same dark fruit with cigar box, coffee, a hint of dark chocolate, and a bit of the mustiness. Good finish.

June 4, 2009 - It's still good! Soft, nice fruit...very berry! No real oak but a good weight and color considering its age. I recommend drinking now although it could drink well for another year.
